Most women experience mild to moderate cramping during insertion, which typically lasts only a few minutes. We can discuss pain management options before the procedure, including anti-inflammatory medication taken beforehand.
Yes. Emergency contraception is most effective when taken as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse. Walk in during practice hours and we will see you promptly. It is effective up to 72 hours (some types up to 120 hours) after the event.
